No, as a referral agent you agree not to actively work with buyers or sellers. This includes and not limited to giving advice or counsel, showing properties, listing properties, attending inspections, arranging or facilitating transaction activities including paperwork or any other act or conduct that could be construed as being an active agent. 

No problem, you are free to transfer your license to another brokerage anytime if you decide you want to start working with buyers and sellers again. 

There are many reasons why agents park their license. No matter your reason Referral Maximum will save you over a $1,000.00 a year in fee's other agents have to pay.  Some agents park their license simply because they no longer want to work with buyers and sellers but still want to earn commissions from people they can refer. Other agents who want to retire have a significant source of referrals allowing them to continue to earn commissions without doing any of the work. And some agents just plan to park their license temporarily but plan to become active at a later date. 

You can negotiate any referral fee for your personal referrals. We recommend you ask for the following referral fee.

• Seller referral-  30-35% of the total listing brokers commission 
• Buyer referral-  20-25% of the total selling brokers commission

Example: Sale price $400,000 

Referral fee: Referred agent charges a 3% Commission. 

$400,000 X 3% =  $12,000 commission earned by referred agent.

$12,000 X 35% referral fee = $4,200 commission earned by you the referring agent.

Yes, we encourage it. The more referrals you can generate the more money you can make.
